A bit more than a week ago, Triumph enticed its loyal followers with the Chrome Collection, honoring its skilled craftsmanship and unique motorcycle DNA through special editions of ten of its most iconic models. For those who lean towards a slightly sportier profile, the 2023 Street Triple 765 series is now revealed by the manufacturer.
To begin with, the British motorcycle brand claims that this naked sports bike provides “top-tier performance.” This newest generation of two-wheeler is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that gives it outstanding nimbleness, power, and safety features.
At its core lies a brand-new 765 cc inline-three engine derived from the Moto2 World Championship engine supplied by Triumph. The 2023 Street Triple 765 comes in three different trim levels, all of which promise finely-tuned for racing, agile handling, and remarkable performance.
The standard 2023 Street Triple 765 R delivers roughly 118 horsepower and 59 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, the “RS” and “Moto2 Edition” increase that to 128 horsepower. All options come with Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter systems built for the track to ensure seamless changes of gears while on the move.
Each model boasts an aluminum beam twin-spar frame with a two-part die-cast rear subframe. The 2023 Street Triple 765 R features a cast aluminum alloy twin-sided swing arm and 17” five-spoke wheels. These wheels are fitted with Brembo brakes to ensure precise braking.
Both the upside-down forks and mono-shock are from Showa. Make the most out of your time with the 2023 Street Triple 765 by benefiting from the ABS, cornering traction control, front wheel lift control, and its customizable five ride modes. Those with a keen interest in motorsports might want to consider investing in the Moto2 Edition for its distinct color schemes, liveries, and carbon fiber bodywork.
