This winter, Priory Farm will host two captivating holiday events at Discovery Land, offering a perfect chance to create cherished memories with family and friends during the festive season.
Located in South Nutfield, just outside Redhill in Surrey, and only a 40-minute train journey from central London, Discovery Land provides a spectacular backdrop for holiday merriment. Events include immersive theatrical performances and enchanting stories at the Father Christmas Experience, along with a brand-new Winter Trail sprinkled with starlight. Discovery Land promises more than a simple nature walk; it offers an invigorating outdoor adventure through ancient woodlands, meadows, and along lakes, designed to inspire the imaginations of both children and adults. The area features adventure play zones, treehouses, balance beams, and seasonal displays, ensuring that there’s something to enchant everyone.
The Winter Trail
This event will take place on selected dates from Saturday, November 23, 2024, through Sunday, January 5, 2025.
The Winter Trail provides a magical ambiance filled with glimmering lights and interactive experiences. Families are invited to join Conifer the reindeer alongside the Discovery Land guardians—Fern, Timber, and Pebble—for a delightful outdoor quest.
Participants will discover 12 Secret Star themed doors, each revealing a unique experience that captures the essence of the holiday spirit. Visitors will have the opportunity to ride a shooting star, catch a fallen star, and fully engage in festive delights, surrounded by sensory play areas, climbing elements, and interactive challenges. Numerous perfect photo spots along the trail await, including the Giant Wreath Rainbow, the Festive Giants Chair, and Father Christmas’ Sleigh.
Tickets are priced between £8 and £11 per person, with free admission for children under 2.

The Father Christmas Experience
This holiday season, Priory Farm introduces an unforgettable Father Christmas Experience in a newly created theatrical space within Discovery Land. This immersive event combines storytelling, music, and special effects to bring the enchantment of Christmas to life through a musical journey in a festive wonderland.
Guests will join delightful characters such as Tinsel Bottom the fairy, Mary Christmas, and Skyler the snow leopard on a quest to save Christmas. With Father Christmas calling for help to restore the twinkle to the Christmas stars, families will play an essential role in guiding his sleigh on Christmas Eve. After the performance, families will have a chance to connect with Father Christmas himself at the Festive Village Green, savoring the holiday atmosphere and toasted marshmallows. Don’t forget to dress warmly, bring your festive spirit, and get ready for a remarkable Christmas adventure!
