Reviving their renowned Global Cuisine Series, The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay is working with the resort’s culinary leaders, Executive Chef Roberto Riveros-Leyton and Navio Chef de Cuisine Francisco Simon, and welcoming visiting Michelin-starred chefs from all over the world.

Overseen by Navio’s Chef de Cuisine Francisco Simón, the 2023 Global Cuisine Series sees collaborations with visiting chefs to curate exclusive dinner and brunch menus for a weekend at Navio, the resort’s upscale dining venue.

The first guest chef to headline the 2023 Global Cuisine Series is Chef Miguel Navarro of Es Fum at the St. Regis Mardavall Resort in Mallorca. From Thursday to Sunday, on February 2–5, 2023, Chef Navarro will introduce his Mediterranean-style cuisine, shaped by Half Moon Bay’s abundant aquaculture and local farming communities.

Expressing his excitement for the first event in the 2023 Global Cuisine Series, Chef Roberto shared, “Chef Francisco, Chef Miguel, and I are thrilled to collaborate as we blend our California flavors with Spanish and Mediterranean influences, combined with modern techniques, using the fresh ingredients available in Half Moon Bay, California. Our shared passion for creating exceptional cuisine, served in the elegant setting of Navio, ensures a dining experience that delights all senses with unexpected culinary delights.”

For those eager to savor dishes by these three culinary maestros, Navio is now open for reservations from February 2-5, 2023. The special menu will be available for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, as well as for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. At Navio, guests can relish not only the delectable dishes but also the picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and sunsets that perfectly complement the locally sourced menus. The Chef’s Tasting Menu, a seven-course extravaganza featuring three dishes by the guest chef, is priced at $249 per guest during dinner service. Meanwhile, the two-hour Weekend Brunch experience, showcasing three dishes from the visiting chef, is available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at $249 per guest.
