The 2025 Cadillac CT5 Represents A Cause For An Expanded Vision For Cadillac’s Lavish Sport Sedan

Upon getting an early peek of the 2025 Cadillac CT5 at the North American International Detroit Auto Show, I am thrilled to confirm that with the forthcoming mid-2024 launch of the sedan, Cadillac is continuing to redefine American grandeur in a more bold and refined advancement of the previous CT5 model. Cadillac has built its status by creating exceptional luxury sedans, so it is uplifting — indeed heartening — to witness the iconic brand reaffirm its dedication to enhancing and progressing this gem of a modern sport sedan in a market that appears to have an insatiable appetite for angular SUVs.

“The importance of CT5 in Cadillac’s lineup cannot be overstressed,” noted John Roth, Global Cadillac’s vice president. “Globally, CT5 is enjoying its best sales year ever. The 2025 CT5 remains true to what customers cherish about this vehicle, while introducing a refreshed appearance and the latest technology and safety features.”

The 2025 CT5 demonstrates an updated front fascia and offers more standard comfort, safety, and technology features, while also integrating the brand’s 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display.

The more remarkable front-end design of the 2025 CT5 complements its swiftback profile. Upgrades include a lower and wider front grille with redesigned Cadillac signature vertical lighting and stacked LED headlamps. The CT5 Sport trim showcases a performance black mesh grille and black surrounds. Additional new features include: standard Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Assist, Google built-in compatibility, and a range of new options including 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, Traffic Sign Recognition and Intelligent Speed Assist, as well as two new exterior colors: Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic.

The CT5’s new 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display boasts an impressive 9K resolution and curves toward the driver in a single, uninterrupted screen spanning the driver’s viewing area. The system also encompasses a customizable user interface designed to offer a technology-forward and personalized experience. According to Alex MacDonald, CT5 chief engineer, “The new advanced technologies amplify the driver’s personal connection in a sedan already renowned for its driving spirit, comfort, and technology.”

Stay tuned for JustLuxe’s street test report for insights on the CT5 driving experience. a comparison between the 2.0L Turbo engine (237 horsepower) and the optional 3.0L Twin-Turbo engine (335 horsepower), an assessment of the new tech, rear-wheel drive dynamics, and On Star media option, as well as an evaluation of whether the ride is successful in providing a quiet cabin experience that still manages to establish a robust connection with the road.

Production of the 2025 Cadillac CT5 begins this spring at GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly facility in Michigan. Pricing to be revealed soon.
