Stephen Curry, a four-time NBA Champion and two-time NBA MVP, has now ventured into the spirits industry by introducing the Gentleman’s Cut Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This well-aged bourbon has been distilled, matured, and bottled by Game Changer Distillery, which was established in 1833 in Boone County, KY, situated on the Kentucky Craft Bourbon Trail.
Fueled by his love for top-notch bourbon, Curry had a hands-on approach in every aspect of the production, blending, aging, packaging, and marketing processes. The bottle carries a personal message from Curry:

Aged for a minimum of 5 years in Boone County, our perfectly crafted mashbill consisting of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley offers a seamless taste of honey, fresh vanilla bean, and rich caramel. The rye component adds earthy and spicy tones, while the hint of barley introduces bold hints of cocoa and toasted flavors. At 90 proof, this whiskey is refined and velvety.

Curry collaborated with John Schwartz (the owner of the highly acclaimed Amuse Bouche Winery in Napa Valley) to establish a partnership with Boone County Distilling Co. Schwartz mentioned, “Working closely with Stephen, we’ve produced a high-caliber aged bourbon that provides great value, appealing to bourbon enthusiasts and expanding the craft bourbon segment to a global audience.”
Brewed in 500-gallon copper pot stills, and aged for 5-7 years in charred new white oak barrels, Gentleman’s Cut is rich in texture with a sophisticated aromatic bouquet, showcasing flavors such as cinnamon, seared caramel, and sweet toasted chestnut. The name—representative of a truly superior spirit—hints at Curry’s skillful maneuvers both on and off the basketball court.

Gentleman’s Cut has secured a national distribution contract with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. On an international level, China Duty Free Group, having more than 200 stores across 70 cities, is one of the importers introducing the brand overseas.
