If you’re looking to plan a getaway for the upcoming Easter holiday, these opulent hotel resorts and dining venues are providing exclusive dining options and activities for a delightful family vacation in the spring.


While rates are increasing, this spring season, the Beach Terrace Inn in Carlsbad’s ‘Village by the Sea’ is showcasing a ‘Marvelous Easter Rate Find’ on March 31. Each Easter Sunday, the cozy oceanfront Beach Terrace Inn in North San Diego introduces multiple secluded beachfront rooms available for $1 and $99 for travelers to discover and book via their website.

This enchanting 48-room hotel boasts spacious guest rooms that can reach up to 700 square feet. Guests can drift off to sleep with the calming sounds of the ocean just steps away.

A favorite spot at the hotel is by the Shorebreak Pool overlooking the sea, and in the evenings, guests can cozy up by one of the fire pits.

The discounted rates hidden within the booking calendar are applicable for check-ins between April 2024 and December 2024.

While in Carlsbad, experience the vibrant and lively The Flower Fields, which display 50 acres of blossoming Ranunculus flowers. This impressive super bloom comprises over 200,000 ranunculus plants per acre, each producing an average of 10 blooms, totaling 2 million blooms per acre. During the peak floral season, the field comes alive with approximately 80 million flowers in full bloom.

Participate in ‘Picnics + Flowers’ and ‘Tea in the Garden’. Tickets for the upcoming Easter Weekend events and other immersive programs until Mother’s Day weekend can be purchased online.


Famously dubbed ‘Surf City,’ this coastal town offers a range of luxurious and distinctive hotels with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. The contemporary Paséa Hotel & Spa is hosting an ‘Easter Brunch & Bubbles’ occasion on March 31. Situated on the resort’s lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean, guests will embark on a delightful day with a lavish brunch commencing at 10 a.m.

The Easter-themed festivities include opportunities for photos with the Easter bunny, live entertainment, and bottomless mimosa for adults to relish alongside lavish seafood and brunch offerings. Savor an array of breakfast pastries, an avocado toast station, a carving station featuring spring leg of lamb and slow-roasted prime rib, Santa Barbara smoked salmon, among other delightful dishes. Also available is a cheese and charcuterie spread, various salads, seasonal fruits, brioche french toast, Piri Piri chicken, heirloom tomato salad, and more.

Delight in treats like a variety of cupcakes, mini panna cotta, warm chocolate chip cookie sundaes, and s’mores bars. The cost for this celebratory brunch is $140 per adult, $65 per child (ages 5-12), while kids under four dine for free. Reservations are mandatory.


Celebrate the Easter weekend at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina on Harbor Island with a vibrant Sunday gathering. The newly introduced Rumorosa will host its inaugural holiday brunch buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Each adult will be greeted with a welcome drink, with guests also having the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny for photo ops.

Chef de Cuisine Cesar Oceguera’s Cali-Baja brunch includes miniature versions of his renowned Concha breakfast sandwich, a carved Barbacoa leg of lamb, a variety of fresh seafood, and petite desserts. Live music will enhance the ambiance and dining experience.

Youthful attendees can engage in either of the two Easter egg hunts, starting at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The price for this festive day is $85 per adult and $45 per child (ages 6 to 12). Children under five can indulge at no cost.


The prestigious five-star The Peninsula Beverly Hills is celebrating Easter Sunday with a range of family-friendly events throughout the day.

Guests can kick off their day with a visit from the Easter Bunny in the lobby, followed by an Easter egg hunt near the Infinity Fountain. Families can then gather for a lavish four-course Easter brunch curated by Michelin-starred Chef Ralf Schlegel. The Belvedere menu features starters like mini chocolate croissants, pretzel twists, and Parker House rolls. The menu also includes an avocado and citrus salad, roasted lamb, crab cake benedict, and Silver Dollar chocolate chip pancakes among other seasonal delights.

Wrap up the meal with a choice of three desserts, including a scrumptious slice of carrot coconut pineapple cake.

Seats are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are crucial at a rate of $155 for adults and $80 for children.

Various Locations to Explore

Each of the three Southern California BOA Steakhouses: West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Manhattan Beach are offering an Easter Day Brunch Buffet. On March 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can savor breakfast classics, freshly crafted salads, an array of seafood, signature sides, desserts, and Easter-themed cocktails. Reservations are recommended for this culinary journey priced at $95 per person.
