Situated on the 15th floor of downtown Auckland’s Cordis hotel, guests can savor breathtaking views of the cityscape, harbor, Rangitoto Island, and the vast ocean. Formerly known as the Langham Auckland, this property is now overseen by the Langham Hospitality Group operating as Cordis. Housing 640 guest rooms and suites spread across 17 levels, including the Pinnacle Tower, it stands as the largest hotel in New Zealand.

The hotel features an impressive collection of artwork celebrating Maori traditions and culture. Notable art pieces include a monumental five-meter bronze sculpture named ‘Sustaining the Heavens,’ created by artist Sanne Mestrom, exhibited in the lobby, showcasing the Maori god, Ika-Roa. Additionally, the premises are embellished with works by Amanda Gruenwald, sculptures by Seung Yul Oh, and stone carvings by Joe Sheehan.

Rooms at Cordis are tastefully decorated with subtle furnishings, a comfortable seating area, and a luxurious bathroom furnished with Christophe Laudamiel products. Guests can relax at the hotel’s exclusive club lounge overseen by Sachin Nayak or rejuvenate at the tranquil spa during their visit.

Dining experiences at Cordis are a culinary delight, presenting a varied breakfast buffet, luxurious afternoon tea at the Chandelier Lounge, and memorable dinners at the ‘Our Soil Is Thriving’ eatery. Visitors can enjoy creative cocktails like the ‘Kiwiland Modern Classic’ and ‘Cranberry Cosmopolitan’ skillfully crafted by mixologist Yogi Mahordika and served graciously by server Aarti Mistry.

The Chuan Spa, led by Sonia Prasad, provides a revitalizing experience with treatments such as the ‘unity massage.’ The hotel’s dedication to sustainability is evident through initiatives like EarthCheck certification and rooftop beekeeping, in line with our eco-conscious values.

Situated in the uptown district, Cordis enjoys a prime location near top Auckland attractions, serving as an ideal starting point for urban explorations. Whether guests wish to visit the Auckland museum, immerse themselves in the lively K Road neighborhood, or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, Cordis offers a luxurious and environmentally-friendly retreat in the heart of Auckland.
