Celebrate the Holiday Spirit at Bellagio Conservatory and Gardens

A dazzling spectrum of holiday sights and sounds enchants visitors at Bellagio Las Vegas, especially at the recently launched Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Designer Ed Libby, alongside the Bellagio’s Horticulture team, has transformed the Conservatory into a festive wonderland, showcasing vibrant floral arrangements and seasonal decorations from now until January 4, 2025.

Libby remarked, “This year’s theme provided a unique chance to create an experience that evokes the nostalgia of the holidays. By merging iconic holiday features with a warm, dream-like ambiance, we’ve designed a display that even the most discerning adults can relish with childlike delight. I believe this is our most traditional, quintessential holiday Conservatory ever—crafted to inspire warmth, joy, and the unmistakable spirit and emotions of the season.”

Guests can be seen capturing selfies beside a gently rotating vintage-style carousel that boasts three beautifully crafted horses. Nearby, a stunning 42-foot holiday tree shines brightly, adorned with festive ornaments and topped with a radiant Swarovski star. This majestic tree is surrounded by 10,000 mini-LED lights and 8,700 decorations.

Above, breathtaking crystal chandeliers twinkle softly, with cascading layers enhanced by intricate metalwork, imparting an elegant touch to the garden area.

The display draws inspiration from the beloved holiday poem ‘A Visit from St. Nick’ by Clement Clarke Moore, with 80 team members at Bellagio collaborating to create heartwarming scenes that honor themes of giving, tradition, and family.

The Conservatory features 41 freshly cut Silvertip trees and 20,000 vividly colored Poinsettias, with shades of red, pink, and yellow representing love, hope, and prosperity.

Stylishly draped LED screens display enchanting winter scenes, complemented by a specially curated holiday soundtrack that deepens the experience for visitors of all ages.

All water used in Bellagio’s Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is sourced from on-site underground wells, utilizing rainwater and recycled water from the resort, thereby eliminating the dependence on municipal drinking water. Moreover, the water within the Conservatory is continually recycled and repurposed for use throughout the resort. This initiative is part of MGM Resorts International’s broader commitment to sustainability.

At the heart of the display sits a striking, gilded red sleigh soaring 21 feet high, overflowing with beautifully wrapped gifts. It is drawn by two festively adorned reindeer, ready for their holiday gift-giving adventure.

A highlight of this magical garden is Drum Major Dolly, a 27-foot tall Bear from Bellagio. Clad in a ceremonial red uniform with gold tassels, Dolly joyfully sways to the joyful tunes of the season.

The magnificent 18-foot gingerbread house mesmerizes with its ruby-red hearts and snow-like icing, exuding the delightful blend of gingerbread and sweet aromas. Passersby can gaze through the window to witness a breathtaking illuminated Gingerbread exhibit from within.

For visitors wishing to take home a piece of the celebration, a Sugar Plum Fairy-scented candle is available for purchase at the Giardini Garden Store.

Enhancing the festive atmosphere further, the Peppermint Express pop-up offers a selection of treats, such as cookies, peppermint meringue, chocolate candies, holiday nougat, popcorn, and both hot coffee and chocolate drinks. Located near the holiday-themed Conservatory and grand lobby, the pop-up is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, extending hours to 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. after Thanksgiving.

Experience the delightful holiday spirit at Bellagio Las Vegas, available now through January 4, 2025. Additionally, the Bellagio features special offers throughout the year.
