Talking With Emma Willis About Style For Soldiers
In this video the British dapper talks to Emma Willis MBE in a rare interview to discuss Style For Soldiers, a charity she created to help injured veterans returning to civilian life.
She talks about how she started by making bespoke shirts for them, how other companies such as Marks & Spencer’s who have given over 750 suits, Lock & Co have given 100’s of hats, Reiss give suits and gifts for partners, Russell & Bromley over 250 shoes and Burberry gave 200 Trench coats and scarves.
Emma has also designed a black ebony walking stick for those who need one, with a silver collar engraved with regiment and initials, which the charity also provides.
Emma is a well established shirtmaker/designer with her shop situated on Jermyn Street where she greets customers from all around the world, providing that unique and bespoke service to get the personalised fit. Despite this, at the time of speaking to her she and her team were busy organising this years summer dinner.
